Program Manager, Natural Resources, CSA Group

Jeff Menard is Program Manager, Natural Resources Standards with the Canadian Standards Association (CSA Group).  His primary role is to coordinate and drive a team of project managers in their efforts to develop and manage Natural Resource focussed standards.  He leads the CSA Group Natural Resources Program which includes; mining & resource recovery, forestry & bioeconomy, water, natural ecosystems & biodiversity, and carbon capture, utilization, & storage.  His portfolio includes more than 30 published standards, guidelines and research reports with another 6 new standards currently in development.  He has over 20 years of experience working with a broad set of interest holders across multiple sectors including Forestry, Mining, Construction, Government, as well as working extensively with municipal governments.  Jeff is passionate about developing solutions for building environmental sustainability and climate resilience in communities.
