- Worked in the multidiscipline EPC consulting industry from 1992-2001 on many industrial projects including in the Municipal, Recreational, Healthcare, Industrial, Food processing, Pulp and paper and Oil and gas industries.
- Started at BC Hydro in 2001 with an Asset Sustainment/Asset Management focus in various engineering and leadership positions until 2019.
- Since 2019, Jim has focused on the strategy and roadmap to develop BC Hydro’s Future Grid. Representing the future of the energy system, his team is accountable for long term grid strategies, identifying and testing new grid innovations, smart metering, and grid automation strategies.
- Hobbies include fishing, hockey and motorcycles.
