Ken Carrusca

Vice President, Construction Innovation, Cement Association of Canada

Ken Carrusca works with the Cement Association of Canada (CAC).  He worked previously at the Ministry of Environment, Metro Vancouver, and HDR Consulting.

The CAC released Concrete Zero – an industry Net-Zero action plan in 2023 and continues to work with government and all facets of the construction value chain to effect GHG reductions. This includes a transition away from fossil fuels, development of lower carbon intensity cement and concrete products, innovation in development and acceptance of new construction materials practices, carbon capture and storage (CCUS), as well as government support with both policy and funding.

Born and raised in Vancouver, Ken studied chemistry and engineering at UBC and is a registered Professional Engineer. He is passionate about hockey and is a volunteer member of the advisory board of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon. He lives with his family in Vancouver.
