Jenn Cable is a second-generation leader of Thorlabs, a vertically integrated supplier of photonics products, from optics, fiber optics, and optomechanical components to laser and microscope systems. Jenn began her career in healthcare and led a corporate strategy team at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, before joining Thorlabs in 2015. After a variety of roles at Thorlabs, she was appointed President in December 2020. As President, she oversees all global operations, financial health, stability, growth, and profitability.
Active in both industry and local community, Jenn serves as a steering committee member of the SPIE Industry Summit, is a member of the SPIE Executive Advisory Group, and chair of the SPIE Environmental and Sustainability Working Group. Additionally, she has been the board President of DASI (Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault Intervention Services) since 2015, and a member of Impact100 Garden State, a women’s collective philanthropy group, where she is a founding member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
Jenn received her Master of Science in Bioethics from Columbia University.
