Chief Technology Officer, Director & Co-founder, Ionomr

Ben has a broad knowledge of alkaline anion-exchange electrochemical device operation, having participated in world-leading research in the application of membranes and polymers at Simon Fraser University under Prof. Holdcroft.

Dr. Britton was part of the initial cohort of scientist-entrepreneurs to receive the ‘Invention to Innovation’ graduate certificate from the Beedie School of Business and used this knowledge to establish Ionomr as its first CEO in 2015 and raising an initial $1.7M seed round.

With a seasoned CEO having joined Ionomr to scale the company, Ben now leads the product strategy and marketing of Ionomr products across a large variety of electrochemical and pressure-based systems.
