Canative Energy was formed in 2016 in Edmonton, Canada with the purpose of economically empowering Indigenous communities. The company is 100% Indigenous-owned and operated and we work with communities around the world to provide them with the necessary tools to help them commercialize their businesses.
Canative Energy works with people full of creativity and passion but, for reasons out of their control, lack the capacity to manage their businesses in the best way possible. We provide practical, on-the-ground support for the development of administrative, commercial, and operating capacities of the Indigenous communities and businesses around the world. We also help the communities develop long-term, strategic plans to ensure they are in the best position to sustain the growth. We have completed projects with communities in both North and South America.
