Vincent Klassen

Director General of the Sustainability Directorate, Environment and Climate Change Canada

Vincent Klassen is Director General of the Sustainability Directorate at Environment and Climate Change Canada.  He leads integrated planning, reporting and performance measurement across federal organizations through the Federal Sustainable Development Strategy and the Canadian Environmental Sustainability Indicators.

Before joining Environment and Climate Change Canada, he served in leadership roles at Global Affairs Canada and Natural Resources Canada and served on diplomatic assignments to Paris and Berlin.

Originally from Calgary, he is a graduate of the University of Ottawa and École nationale d’Administration (France).
