Ted is an expert in corporate sustainability and climate change. He has over 20 years of experience working for leading edge companies, government initiatives and non-government organizations which seek to reinforce the connectivity between business needs, energy issues, environmental concerns, and long-term sustainability. Ted is currently Chair of the Board for Canadian Business for Social Responsibility (CBSR).
As Profoundry’s CSO Ted is leading a business offering where he works in an embedded way with organizations. A Virtual CSO provides a flexible way for a company to integrate an experienced expert on all aspects of sustainability into their leadership team to enable them to move further and faster towards their stated goals. Ted becomes a part of internal efforts that are driving new corporate targets and ambition on sustainability strategies or a more specific area like net zero. He currently has two embedded roles.
Ted is Silfab Solar’s Director of ESG. He oversees initiatives that integrate Silfab’s ESG objectives to exceed industry standards and align with the growing needs of finance and customer expectations to further reduce environmental impacts, provide a positive and equitable work environment, and adhere to the highest ethical business standards that will be backed by rigorous accountability and governance systems. The roll will help Silfab’s goal to reduce Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions by 50 percent by 2030 and achieving net zero operations by 2040.
For Charger Ready Properties, Ted is the Vice President, Partnerships and Market Development. Ted leads the development of business partnerships while also keeping the organization at the forefront of the evolving EV charging market.
