The Leading Change Forum is a face-to-face gathering of 150+ sustainability leaders between the ages of 19-35. The full day of facilitated programming and activities equips delegates with the transferable skills, practical strategies, and intergenerational networks to boost their careers and their positive change efforts.
For the first time in its 16-year history, the Leading Change Forum is taking place in the Vancouver Convention Centre West alongside GLOBE 2020. Keep an eye out for the bright red pins that Leading Change delegates will be wearing… and don’t be shy to strike up a conversation!
Leading Change is a national not-for-profit with a mission to activate young professional leaders to accelerate positive change.
Leading Change is part of a constellation of organizations that includes GLOBE Series, The Delphi Group and the EXCEL Partnership. Our shared vision is to achieve a sustainable, prosperous and socially just future in a generation – and to have fun while we’re doing it. Together, we provide services and platforms that empower business, government and youth to improve performance while accelerating the clean economy.
Leading Change delegates are identified through a competitive selection process. The typical Leading Change delegate is a mature, forward-thinking individual who values diversity. They seek out connections across different industries, disciplines, regions, viewpoints, identities, and generations.
If this sounds like you, then you’re encouraged to apply!
Applications for the 2020 Leading Change Forum are expected to open in late September 2019.
It was extremely rewarding to spend the week with such like-minded individuals. I knew I would have plenty of opportunity to network but my expectations were exceeded, and the conversations that I’ve had will help drive the momentum of this conference to both my work and personal lives.
My experience at Leading Change allowed me to meaningfully connect with many other young professionals and students from across the country, allowing me to expand my professional networks while also gaining new skills and hearing inspiring speeches. Before the forum, I had some trouble conceptualizing the roles that young professionals could take, but this forum provided me with so many concrete examples of young leaders creating meaningful impacts across the country and around the world.
There’s a comfort in knowing that I am not alone and have the support of my generation of peers and upcoming young leaders who will continue to push for change and action!
Leading Change allowed me to connect with dozens of youth professionals that are at the forefront of the sustainability movement. I left feeling energized with new ideas, contacts, and inspiration after an eventful week at GLOBE.
