Welcome and thank you for your interest in hosting an event in the Canada Pavilion at the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), hosted by the United Arab Emirates in Dubai from November 30 – December 11, 2023.
National pavilions are high-visibility spaces that provide countries and organizations a unique opportunity to showcase their climate efforts, host events, and offer a central networking hub for key partners and stakeholders.
At COP28 in Dubai, Canada’s pavilion will showcase the breadth of Canadian climate leadership and innovation by:
- Showcasing Canada’s whole-of-society approach and the commitments and efforts of all actors
- Promoting Canadian innovations including:
- low-carbon businesses
- clean technologies
- sustainable finance
- nature-based solutions
- Building synergies with climate action and the protection of nature
- Promoting Indigenous climate leadership
- Amplifying international support for developing countries and leadership on signature international initiatives
- Upholding Canadian human rights values (including but not limited to 2SLGBTQI+, people of colour, persons with disabilities, and gender inclusivity

ECCC has engaged GLOBE Series and Delphi as the Event Management Team to support the Canada Pavilion program at COP28 in the UAE. GLOBE’s leadership in executing large-scale sustainability conferences and Delphi’s expertise as a pioneer in climate, sustainability and ESG consulting will ensure Canada effectively showcases its diverse climate leadership on the world stage.
