On April 12, 2019, join GLOBE Series and Asia Dive Expo (AEDX) in Singapore for the launch of their partnership and an announcement about the Ocean Partnership Summit.
The first event will take place in conjunction with Asia Dive Expo (ADEX) 2020, with the second taking place in Canada. ADEX is the longest- running dive consumer and trade show in Asia, attended by over 60,000 people each year. The Ocean Partnership Summit will complement ADEX by convening hundreds of attendees and thought-leading speakers who are interested in advancing the blue economy.
The Summit will convene global leaders from business, government and civil society to find solutions to the challenges threatening our most vital resource. It is a unique platform for showcasing innovative ideas and perspectives related to ocean stewardship and conservation. It will connect political leaders and policymakers, global business executives, academics, and NGO heads so that, together, they can shape the future of our seas.
The Ocean Partnership Summits will build on the events that were held in Halifax in September 2018 as part of the G7 Ministerial Meeting on Working Together on Climate Change, Oceans and Clean Energy – G7 Oceans Partnership Summit.
