Hosted in association with ADEX Series, the Ocean Partnership Summit in Singapore builds on the events that were held in Halifax in September 2018 as part of the G7 Ministerial Meeting on Working Together on Climate Change, Oceans and Clean Energy – G7 Oceans Partnership Summit.

The Summit will convene global leaders from business, government and civil society to find solutions to the challenges threatening our most vital resource.

It will take place in conjunction with Asia Dive Expo (ADEX), the longest- running dive consumer and trade show in Asia, attended by over 60,000 people each year. The Ocean Partnership Summit will complement ADEX by convening hundreds of attendees and thought-leading speakers who are interested in advancing the blue economy.

The Summit is a unique platform for showcasing innovative ideas and perspectives related to ocean stewardship and conservation. It will connect political leaders and policymakers, global business executives, academics, and NGO heads so that, together, they can shape the future of our seas.

Following the launch of the Ocean Partnership Summit in Singapore, the next event will be held in Vancouver, Canada, in Spring 2020.

Featured topics include:

  • Ocean plastics and marine waste
  • Opportunities in the blue economy
  • Sustainable fisheries and marine tourism
