The Canadian Climate Institute’s recent report The Big Switch outlines the necessary changes to align Canadian electricity systems with the country’s net-zero objectives. Transforming Canada’s electricity infrastructure to support these objectives in a cost-effective manner requires that we act both wisely, and quickly. In this timely webinar, we’ll discuss policy and social barriers to accelerating action, and uncover the practical solutions and tools that can drive a faster transformation of Canadian electricity systems to support our net-zero targets.

Dans son récent rapport intitulé Volte-face, l’Institut climatique du Canada met en lumière les changements aux réseaux électriques du Canada qui seront nécessaires à l’atteinte des objectifs de carboneutralité du pays. Pour transformer de manière rentable l’infrastructure électrique nationale en conformité avec ces objectifs, il faudra agir non seulement judicieusement, mais aussi rapidement. Dans ce webinaire – qui arrive à point nommé –, nous discuterons des politiques et facteurs sociaux qui freinent les actions en ce sens, et nous dévoilerons des outils et des solutions pratiques capables de transformer plus vite les réseaux électriques canadiens dans une optique de carboneutralité.
