Paige Olmsted is a Conservation Finance Specialist at the Smart Prosperity Institute and the Nature Investment Hub. Paige’s research focuses on how we account for, make decisions about, and value nature. Her expertise centers around ecosystem services, nature-based solutions for climate change, ecological economics, and environmental and relational values. In her previous positions with UNEP, the Earth Institute, and Copenhagen Business School she has enjoyed working with a range of stakeholders — including local communities, NGOs, various scales of government, academia, and the private sector — to address nature and economic development challenges . Paige has an MPA in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University, and a PhD in Environmental Science from the University of British Columbia.
