Michael Powell is Vice President, Government Relations for Electricity Canada. Michael provides strategic advice to Electricity Canada’s member electricity companies on how to advance the sector’s interests with government stakeholders. This includes advocacy efforts in Canada and the United States on issues such as climate change, electrification, and security.
Before joining Electricity Canada, Michael provided strategic, public affairs and communications advice for Canadian and international clients with a leading boutique consultancy. He has led communications and advocacy campaigns in all provinces and across the North.
