Julia is a leader in the low carbon economy. As the Program and Operations Director at CBSR (Canadian Business for Social Responsibility), Julia is excited to work closely with Canadian businesses to help them reach their net zero goals. Julia has considerable expertise using human-centered design principles in solving complex challenges with actionable solutions to help government, industry, and businesses advance their decarbonization goals.
Julia was formerly awarded the 9th position on Canada’s Top 25 Environmentalist Under 25 for her leadership in the community energy sector. She a Studio Y Fellow at the MaRS Discovery District.
With a background in economics and international development, Julia has a Master of Environmental Studies and Business from York University and Schulich School of Business. Julia has also completed a Certificate in Energy Management from the University of Toronto.
