James Paterson

Research Scientist, Ducks Unlimited Canada

James Paterson is a Biodiversity Research Scientist at the Institute for Wetland and Waterfowl Research, the science arm of Ducks Unlimited Canada. James is a conservation biologist studying the links between biodiversity, habitats, and people. The goal of his work is to develop and improve conservation solutions to help bend the curve of biodiversity loss. He holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Ottawa, an MSc in Biology from Laurentian University, and a BSc in Zoology from the University of Guelph.
