James Dick is the Senior Associate, Sustainable Investments at Genus Capital Management, an independent asset management firm providing sustainable investment solutions since 1994. At Genus, James focuses on impact investing and sustainable finance, supporting the development of the firm’s proprietary models including the creation of tailored solutions that support long-term financial returns while driving measurable social and environmental outcomes. Genus is committed to the global transition to a sustainable, low-carbon economy, and aligning investments with client values.
Before joining Genus, James founded the Calgary Propel Impact Fund, Alberta’s first student-led fund focused on investing in social and environmental enterprises. The Fund collaborates with the University of Calgary’s UCeed Social Impact Fund, helping to support impactful startups and scale their sustainability efforts.
