Heather Scoffield

Senior Vice-President, Strategy, Business Council of Canada

Heather crafts and pursues the strategic priorities of the Council in collaboration with her Council colleagues and members. Her focus is finding practical solutions to the major economic and growth challenges of our time – competitiveness, climate and a constantly changing workforce. Previously, Heather spent 30 years in journalism, covering economics, policy and politics at the Toronto Star, The Canadian Press and the Globe and Mail. She has a Masters degree in journalism and an undergraduate degree in International Relations.
