As Assistant Vice-President, Sustainability at Sun Life Canada, Cindy is embedding sustainability into Sun Life’s strategies, processes, and products and services to help create positive social, environmental, and business value. Cindy is building equity into the product and service design process, increasing supply chain sustainability, and facilitating the development and execution of their enterprise climate transition plan.

Cindy’s extensive experience includes leading RBC’s youth social impact strategy and delivering measurable social, employee, brand and business impact at scale. Prior to RBC, Cindy was a leader of Deloitte’s Sustainability and Climate Change advisory practice, where she advised companies globally on advancing their environmental, social and governance (ESG) priorities.

Cindy was named Corporate Knights top 30 under 30 leaders in Sustainability in 2015. She also serves as a Director of the Board of the Royal Canadian Mint. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environment and Human Health and a Masters of Environment Science from the University of Toronto.
