Andrew Waddell is a manager with RMI’s Climate-Aligned Industries program, where he focuses on shipping decarbonization and scaling up low-carbon fuels production, with particular emphasis on the interaction between the electricity sector and fuels production. He leads RMI’s work on advancing green shipping corridors around the globe. Before joining RMI, Andrew held a research fellowship with the energy-system modeling firm Evolved Energy Research, where his analysis of decarbonization pathways across all sectors of the economy was used by government and regulatory bodies, energy companies, and NGOs to guide policy development and investment decisions. He holds a Masters of Science in Energy Systems Management.
