Why are we seeing an increased price on the Delegate pass rates?

In-person events are becoming increasingly expensive to execute, with event management companies routinely facing cost increases of over 35% on key items such as venue rental, food and beverage, and audio-visual services. To maintain the high level of quality that you have come to expect from GLOBE Series events, a modest 20% increase has been instituted for the GLOBExCHANGE 2025 registration fee.

ATTENDEES

Will I have an opportunity to meet with other attendees?

Yes! Attendees are encouraged to schedule time with their counterparts through DIY appointment setting in the event mobile app. More information regarding 1:1 appointment scheduling will be available closer to the event.

During the registration process, all delegates will also be asked about their interest in business-to-business (B2B) opportunities, including Speed Networking, Knowledge Connect sessions, and more.

When can I build my personal schedule?

Those participating in the GLOBExCHANGE 2025 experience will be able to build their personal schedule approximately one week prior to the event when access to the mobile and desktop event app becomes available.

How long will I have access to the GLOBExCHANGE 2025 event app?

The GLOBExCHANGE 2025 event app, inclusive of all attendee and programming details, will remain accessible on mobile and desktop versions through May 13, 2025.

Are guests allowed to attend the Welcome Reception?

The GLOBExCHANGE 2025 Welcome Reception will only be accessible to registered delegates; we are not offering guest tickets at this time.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

There is an opportunity to indicate special dietary restrictions during the registration process. Please note that GLOBE Series will do everything in its power to accommodate restrictions and allergies.

Will American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and translation services be available onsite at GLOBExCHANGE 2025?

ASL interpretation and translation services will not be available at GLOBExCHANGE. We understand that accessibility is crucial for all attendees, and if you require assistance or accommodations, please reach out to register@globeseries.com.

SUSTAINABILITY

How is GLOBE Series addressing the emissions associated with GLOBExCHANGE 2025?

We recognize you’re making an investment every time you attend a GLOBE event – and we’re committed to ensuring you get a significant return on all aspects of that investment. As an event producer focused on accelerating a sustainable future, we have a responsibility to ensure that (1) the GLOBE community sees a return on carbon (primarily associated with air travel to and from our events), and (2) we walk the talk when it comes to our own footprint.

We do everything we can to make our events as sustainable as possible, including a comprehensive carbon inventory that incorporates our on-site operations, event staff travel, hotel stays, and food served. GLOBExCHANGE will be ‘bullfrogpowered’ with 100% green electricity, and we will offset all event-related emissions. In addition, during the registration process delegates have the option to offset travel-related emissions. We recognize that purchasing credible offsets does not address the root cause of travel-related emissions, so GLOBExCHANGE also includes programming to identify and accelerate climate solutions in the travel sector. Beyond this, GLOBE is committed to measuring, understanding and addressing our impact through various initiatives such as our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventory.

When it comes to delivering a return on carbon, GLOBExCHANGE is an opportunity to contribute to outcomes that don’t just result in ‘less harm’ but generate ‘more good.’ The entire focus of our event is to build a more regenerative, net-zero future, and being part of this community empowers you to dismantle barriers and accelerate solutions so we can achieve it.

Why does GLOBE Series collect Greenhouse Gas (GHG) information during the registration process?

GLOBE is committed to making a positive impact on the planet while continuing to deliver the high-quality in-person experiences you love. As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, we collect data related to delegate travel plans to inform our GLOBExCHANGE greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventory.

The first step in reducing our carbon impact is to recognize it. By collecting comprehensive GHG data across our operations and supply chain, we can identify key areas in our business practice where we can reduce emissions, optimize processes, and invest in more sustainable practices.

Transparency and Accountability

We believe in transparency and being accountable for our actions. By openly sharing our GHG data, we’re inviting our valued community – customers, partners, and stakeholders – to join us on this journey.

Personal Contribution

Your actions and decisions are important. By your voluntary participation in the gathering of GHG data, you are creating momentum for a worldwide movement. As event attendees, you are active collaborators in our vision for the future where large-scale events and sustainable practices are the norm, not the exception.

Privacy and Security

We place the highest priority on data security and privacy. Your information will be handled in compliance with strict privacy policies that guarantee any data shared is used only to further our sustainability practices.

How does GLOBE Series incorporate sustainability practices into GLOBExCHANGE 2025?

GLOBExCHANGE is taking place at the Sheraton Centre Toronto, a venue with a 5-Key Green Key Certification in Sustainability, and they have achieved measurable reductions in energy usage, carbon emission and operating expenses from modernized lighting, HVAC, water systems, and waste diversion initiatives, including:

  • Reducing food waste volume by 80-90%
  • Abating 24.2 tonnes of carbon dioxide
  • Saving half a million kilowatt-hours by switching to LED bulbs

GLOBE is committed to offering delegates sustainable food and beverage options, including vegan and vegetarian options and fresh drinking water served in cambros and compostable cups instead of disposable single use bottles. To eliminate food waste, we provide the venue with as accurate numbers as possible for our delegates food and beverage service. The venue also prioritizes fresh local ingredients without additives, avoids disposable utensils and dishes, avoids canned goods and whenever possible, and donates excess food to various local charities.

GLOBE uses a mix of digital and printed signage for directory and wayfinding information. To reduce the need for single use signage, all printed signage is either made with recyclable materials to be recycled post-event or is designed to be used at future events.

Any furniture used at GLOBExCHANGE is rented and thus reusable, while any additional event elements are printed on recyclable materials. This includes delegate badges, which are made of biodegradable materials, and the lanyards and badge holders, which are made of recyclable materials and are intended to be reused for future events and will be gathered using our badge collection process.

DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION (DE&I)

How is GLOBE Series committed to DE&I?

At GLOBE Series, we are committed to continuously improving the diversity, inclusion and accessibility of our events. We value the contributions of individuals who identify as members of historically and systemically underrepresented communities and understand that a diversity of perspectives is critical to achieving a sustainable future. We acknowledge that this work is not finished, it is continuously evolving, and we strive to always do better.

To accomplish this, we work to build inclusive programs by inviting speakers from a diversity of backgrounds to participate in our events. We actively partner with organizations that enhance our own perspectives and apply the learnings from lived experiences and expertise to broaden our vision for GLOBE Series events.

GLOBE Series provides financial support to ensure underrepresented groups can actively participate in our events, and we make every effort to create safe and accessible spaces to have the tough conversations necessary to move the needle.

We also gather voluntary disclosed information through a Diversity Questionnaire, to build understanding and awareness of our speaker and delegate base. We are committed to actively creating this foundation of inclusion and representation as it guides the planning and delivery of GLOBE Series events.

What is the Diversity Questionnaire and what is it used for?

The Diversity Questionnaire is a voluntary survey that asks speakers, delegates, and other attendees to disclose how they identify within commonly underrepresented communities. Capturing this anonymous voluntary disclosure information helps us better understand who our audience is, enabling us to continuously improve and increasingly ensure that all participants feel included and represented throughout GLOBE Series events. We also use this information to understand who we are not reaching and which communities and individuals we need to make a more intentional effort to include in our conversations. During the registration process, we hope you will help us with our diversity and inclusion efforts by completing this voluntary survey, as this information helps us move closer to our goal of a sustainable, prosperous, and socially just future for all.
