FNMPC’s National Indigenous Electrification Strategy (NIES) focuses on accelerating Indigenous ownership of net zero infrastructure within Canada. The NIES will position Indigenous nations as leaders in decarbonizing and doubling Canada’s electricity generation, transmission, and distribution systems. Along with other key stakeholders, the private sector plays a pivotal role, and its partnership is essential for success.
This collaborative workshop, designed for private sector professionals, will explore solutions and pathways for progress towards electrification objectives, centered in building meaningful partnerships with Indigenous communities.
