Like most economic sectors, our growing global healthcare industry is increasingly contributing to a changing climate. Though the medical industry in Canada has largely operated absent of climate-related regulation, leaders in this space continue to take action. Medical doctors are among some of the strongest proponents of climate action and are well placed to make the case for why all industry sectors should take action to accelerate a clean economy – whether or not government intervention is present.
In this interactive session, we’ll leverage collaboration between the healthcare industry and other industry sectors to advance economy-wide climate action efforts.
