The Centre for Global Education (CGE) is excited to present an exclusive, official side event of the GlobexChange 2025: “Mainstreaming Environmental Education Across Sectors.” This event brings together system leaders across sectors to ensure that environmental education becomes a core component of K12 education systems.

Session Objectives:

  • Convene System Leaders: Bring high-level representatives from ESG teams, K-12 education systems, philanthropic organizations, and environmental non-profits to collaborate on environmental education initiatives.
  • Mainstream Environmental Education: Discuss strategies to integrate environmental education and agency into formal K12 systems nationwide.
  • Build Partnerships: Explore how and why industry, philanthropy, non-profit and K12 can and should work together to normalize key strategies, such as the proposed National Framework for Environmental Learning.
  • Actionable Insights: Provide a platform to identify concrete pathways for embedding environmental education into priorities, policies, and practices.
