Guided Walking & Running Tour

Location: Meet in the Lobby of the Vancouver Convention Centre

Start your day with fresh air and exercise by joining a Running Room guided walking/running tour. Take in stunning views of Vancouver's North Shore mountains and harbour (keep an eye out for seals!) and breathe the ocean air while getting ready for an exhilarating day at GLOBE. An excellent opportunity to make new connections in a less formal environment.
Be sure to meet at the Red Running Room tent just outside of the Vancouver Convention Centre at 6:15 am to fill up your reusable water bottle and connect with other runners.

Corporate Networking Breakfast

Luncheon: The Climate Change International Agenda After the Paris Agreement

The COP21 and the Paris Agreement set the stage for a new economy. Canada has announced that it will take initiatives to move the agenda forward both from business and policy perspectives. How can business and governments take the next critical steps? How can British Columbia contribute meaningfully to a carbon sober world economy?

The Canadian Club of Vancouver, in collaboration with the Francophone Chamber of Commerce and Réseau HEC Montréal in Vancouver, is pleased to invite you to a luncheon featuring guest of honour and speaker, His Excellency Nicolas Chapuis, Ambassador of the French Republic to Canada.

Recipient of many awards and honours including the Public Manager of the year award in France, Nicolas Chapuis became Ambassador of France to Canada in February 2015. His presentation will focus on the climate change international agenda after the Paris Agreement.

The sign up guarantees a restaurant reservation only, all charges are at your own expense. Sign up is on first come, first serve basis at the Meeting room level in-front of the Room 11.

These short, but informative films, have been hand-picked by our GLOBE Team focusing on the Great Bear Sea, the Pacific Ocean, Indigenous communities of the West Coast, and Sustainable Business. Come relax, enjoy some incredible films, and listen to some of the amazing producers who helped bring these movies to life.
