Cathy is an award winning executive with extensive experience with reorganizational structures, mergers, acquisitions, change management and divestitures. She is the recipient of the 2014 Association of Women in Finance Peak Award: Excellence in the Public Sector and Business in Vancouver 2013 CEO of the Year in the Transformation Agents category. Under her leadership, TransLink remains Canada’s only transportation agency to raise funds directly through Canadian debt capital markets, and has raised more than $1 billion since 2010.

In addition to her appointment as Interim CEO, Cathy is TransLink’s CFO and Executive Vice-President of Finance. She is constantly looking for ways to make TransLink more efficient and move customers and goods safely and reliably across the Metro Vancouver region.

In previous roles, Cathy has been the General Manager for Canadian Forest Products Ltd, as well as the Corporate Controller for Howe Sound Pulp and Paper Limited Partnership. Cathy was also the acting secretary for the Board of Directors and a member of many Executive Steering Committees such as Fiber, Health Safety and Environment and Oracle Financial Project. In addition, she also served as the Regional Controller for Canadian Forest Products Limited in Prince George and as a Senior Field Accountant for Deloitte & Touche.

An International Certified Business Coach, Cathy is a Certified Management Accountant, and holds a Business Administration Diploma in Finance and Accounting. She has her International Corporate Directorship from Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.

Previously, Cathy served on the Board of Directors for Vancouver Coastal Health and as Director and President of the Vancouver Coastal Health Research Corporation. She is currently serving as a Director for both the Coast Mountain Bus Company and chairs Transportation Property and Casualty Company.
