Executive Vice-Chairman, Canadian Natural Resources Ltd.

Steve W. Laut is Executive Vice Chairman of the Board of the company. He became Executive Vice-Chairman of the Corporation on March 1, 2018. Prior thereto, he joined the Corporation as Senior Exploitation Engineer in 1991 and was appointed to positions of increasing responsibility as Vice-President, Operations in 1996; Executive Vice-President, Operations in 2001; Chief Operating Officer in 2003; and, President in 2005. He has been instrumental in contributing to the Corporation’s growth and success during his tenure.

Mr. S.W. Laut holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (“APEGA”).
