As Director General for Trade Sectors at Global Affairs Canada, Rosaline leads a team that serves Canadian companies in key sectors including Clean Technologies, Infrastructure, Information and Communications Technologies, Aerospace, Automotive, Life Sciences, Financial Services, Creative Industries, as part of Canada’s Trade Commissioners Service.
Prior to her current position, she was Executive Director at Global Affairs Canada responsible for Southeast Asia, where she also oversaw Canada’s multilateral engagement with Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and the Association of Southeast Asia Nations (ASEAN). Previously, she was the Executive Director, Commercial-Economic Relations for South Asia, Southeast Asia and Oceania, Director of the Multi-Industry Sectors Division, where she worked closely with Canadian industry stakeholders in support of their international business development in global markets.
Rosaline has served in Canada’s diplomatic missions abroad, in New Delhi and in Taipei as Senior Trade Commissioner as well as in Beijing. She has broad government experience through her work at the Privy Council Office, Revenue Canada, and Statistics Canada.
She holds a Bachelor of Science from McGill University (Math and Computer Science) and an International Masters of Business Administration from the University of Ottawa.
