Mary Francia has 25 years of international leadership and executive management experience in Telecom, Consumer Electronics, Media, and Healthcare. She brings expertise and knowledge for digital transformation, international market development, and risk management.
Having lived, worked, and managed teams in Latin America, USA, Europe, and Asia has given her expertise on how to create markets and run operations effectively internationally during times of fast growth as well as during top-line decline. Today, she helps companies maintain relevancy and breath with the marketplace for stability and growth as an advisor for board composition and succession planning. During her past corporate assignments, she worked closely with the CEO and the board, troubleshooting strategic issues, and risk across the portfolio, customers, markets, and talent. Previously, she held strategy, marketing, and sales roles at Nokia, Royal Philips, Time Warner Cable, Flex, and Air-Liquide in Europe and the Americas.
Ms. Francia has also been an advisor for Industry, Innovation, and Business to EICTA /Digital Europe, Philips Research, Bell Labs, the US National Science Foundation for Georgia Institute of Technology, and business mentor for several technology incubators. An Italian American born in Peru, she holds a Bachelor in Business Administration and an MBA in International Business. Ms. Francia has a Certification in International Corporate Governance from INSEAD, where she serves on the board of the International Directors Network since 2014. With Spanish as a native language, she is fluent in English, French, and Portuguese.
