Cory Beaver is an advocate and leader from the Stoney Nakoda First Nation in Morley, Alberta. Currently, he works as a youth outreach coordinator at Stoney Health Services a research assistant for the G4 Tsuut’ina Stoney Nakoda Tribal Council. He was the president of the Student Energy Chapter at Mount Royal University and the co-chair of the SevenGen 2019 Indigenous Student Energy Summit, which gathered over 200 Indigenous youth. He was also a fellow of the Energy Futures Lab, where he had the privilege to work in spaces relating to energy, climate, and sustainability in Alberta. Cory is passionate about amplifying the voices of Indigenous youth as a way forward on truth and reconciliation.
