Alison Stewart

Manager of Strategic Planning, Fraser Valley Regional District

Alison is a Registered Professional Planner with a Master of City Planning degree from the University of Manitoba.

Alison carries out a range of duties related to strategic planning; policy analysis; demographics; regional transit planning; affordable housing and homelessness; climate change and Regional Growth Strategy administration. One of her roles is to brief the FVRD Board, Regional and Corporate Services Committee and senior staff on significant public issues and recommend actions.

Prior to working at the FVRD, Alison was a community planner at the City of Abbotsford. As a strategic planner, she keeps an eye out for trends or issues that may impact the Region and its member municipalities in both the short and long term.
