We’ve all heard “teamwork makes the dream work” and achieving net zero is no exception, especially when it comes to scope 3 emissions – emissions that result from assets not owned or controlled by the reporting organization, but that the organization indirectly affects in its value chain. Join the 2024 cohort of CBSR Sustainable Procurement Fellows and program alumni to learn how industry collaborations can slash GHG emissions in your supply chain. Participants in this session will explore how to sync your organization’s goals, resources and standards with industry peers, as well as how a unified approach can better influence suppliers to make the net-zero switch.
Now more than ever we cannot let the fear of failure or the pursuit of perfect prevent us from taking action. It’s time we shift the narrative and embrace a collective commitment to progress over perfection. Join this session and examine the pitfalls of waiting for the ‘perfect’ sustainability plan while we explore the incremental steps needed to nurture a culture of continuous improvement.
By the end of 2024 we will be halfway to 2030 and halfway through the Decade of Action necessary to meet net–zero emissions and other key sustainability goals by 2050. We need to take decisive and bold steps today to reach our targets that simultaneously deliver positive results on the pathway to net-zero. Join us for this interactive workshop where we will explore how to drive tangible results at pace, by setting, prioritizing, and meeting effective interim plans that will help your organization reach destination net zero, and beyond.
Intersectional environmentalism (IE) aims to protect both people and the planet, while recognizing how environmental issues affect different groups in different ways, and inherently impacts marginalized and oppressed groups more. This session is for everyone who wants to learn more about IE, how to navigate the crossroads between environmental and social justice, and how to apply it to your work to create a more inclusive and regenerative future for all.

In this interactive and outcomes-focused workshop, you’ll share the key learnings and actions needed to reach Destination Net Zero.
