The Pacific Coast Collaborative (PCC) is a vital partnership for advancing regional cooperation and climate action and is making strides in the decarbonization of the transportation industry, including sharing the ambitious goal of ending new sales of  light-duty gas-powered vehicles by 2035. The PCC has successfully implemented the West Coast Electric Highway from Vancouver to San Diego, and is actively collaborating on interoperable charging technologies, a consistent user experience, and aligned infrastructure investments. Join us to hear from PCC partners on how cross-border collaboration is mitigating emissions, promoting economic growth, and driving action for a net-zero future. 

Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is working with B.C.-based innovators to reduce emissions and electrify its operations to meet its net-zero-by-2030 commitment and become the world’s greenest airport. YVR is one of the primary testbeds for the Integrated Marketplace, developed by the Province of BC and supported by PacifiCan, that matches businesses and industry in need of forward-thinking solutions to utilize commercially ready, local designed innovations. Moderated by the Honourable Brenda Bailey, Minister of Jobs Economic Development and Innovation, this panel will discuss the incredible value in reducing risks for technology adoption through collaboration with local innovative solution providers and provide an overview of some of the learnings to date.
