Learn. Connect. Advance.

GLOBE Forum was a turning point in the conversation about the clean economy.

Thought leaders from the public and private sectors challenged and inspired us across five key themes: Climate Crisis, Sustainability as Strategy, Energy Transformation, Circular Economy, and Mobilizing Capital.

GLOBE 2020 was also where talk turned to action: our program was geared toward generating impact, action and outcomes — for business and for the planet.

Our Pillars:

LEARN: Get the information and inspiration you need to adapt to a changing world.
CONNECT: Meet the people who can help you achieve your goals.
ADVANCE: Grow your career and your business.

With engaging formats like workshops, debates, Q&As and challenge pitches, delegates left GLOBE 2020 with new ideas, connections and inspiration.

GLOBE Advance

GLOBE Advance: From Talk to Action

On the final day of GLOBE Forum, participants joined us for the first-ever GLOBE Advance and a hands-on opportunity to shape the clean economy. Attendees worked with experts from the GLOBE community to deliver action plans and other influential outcomes on six topics.

GLOBE Advance helped us go farther and faster when it comes to addressing risks and capitalizing on opportunities in the clean economy.

GLOBE After Dark

GLOBE After Dark

GLOBE After Dark was the biggest party we’d ever thrown. For our 30th anniversary we came together to celebrate 30 years of big deals, big ideas and big impact.

We were excited to partner with CN, IETA, Clean Energy Canada and XCHG to bring you GLOBE After Dark at one of Vancouver’s most iconic downtown venues, the Commodore Ballroom.

The Commodore is one of the best concert venues in Canada and has hosted music legends from around the world for decades.

All your favourite people under one roof plus live music, a poutine bar (and other delicious treats) and custom cocktails!

Transport: Starting at 20:15, West Coast Sightseeing provided electric bus pick-up and drop-off every 15 minutes between the Pan Pacific and the Commodore.

  • First pick-up from Pan Pacific: 20:15, Feb. 11
  • Last drop-off to Pan Pacific: 01:15, Feb. 12

This event was for GLOBE Forum and Exchange delegates only.

This year, the Women’s Luncheon was bigger than ever before in celebration of our 30th anniversary. It reflected all the things we love about the GLOBE community, highlighting diverse, intergenerational voices in a fun and interactive way.

The conference was political, creative and flawlessly executed. I was very glad to be a part of it.

Tzeporah Berman Adjunct Professor and Strategic Consultant, York University

I really came away renewed, inspired and filled with great new knowledge. It was truly a pleasure to contribute in some small way.

Joe Tankersley Principal Consultant, Unique Visions

I truly enjoyed participating in GLOBE and felt like it was one of the best conferences I have been to in a long time. You very much walked the talk, from your support for women, to First Peoples, to your contribution to the local organizations.
