With COP25 in the rear-view and Glasgow around the corner, global carbon policy, market, and investment landscapes are shifting… and they’re shifting fast. International “cooperation” via climate markets and results-based financing are vital ingredients to drive private capital at scale that supports deep decarbonization goals. IETA’s multi-sector Forum will take stock of top-down (UNFCCC, Article 6) market rule-making activities and pilots, as well as explore some “must watch” bottom-up (national, sub-national, carbon club) trends across The Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Global Aviation Sector and the Natural Climate Solutions (NCS) space.
