Wendy has a passion for agriculture, food, energy, and public health. For more than two decades, she has supported governments, industry associations, corporations, SMEs, and technology startups. She advises on technology development and marketing, supply chain optimization, climate adaptation, and strategic communications.
Working in the media, for corporations and at communications firms has given her a unique ability to see sectoral issues from all sides, along with the nuanced conditions that lead to polarized thinking. She’s launched hundreds of consumer marketing, B2B and cause marketing programs and orchestrated tens of dozens of events, workshops and research efforts; all serving the needs of progress for both business development and the betterment of the communities they serve.
Today, she leads Industries in Transition, a communications consultancy that helps businesses adopt new technologies, leverage AI, diversify markets, respond to political pressures, and act responsibly. She is frequently called on for advice, connections, and communications support by companies, consortiums, and industry events. Wendy believes that healthy communication, mutual understanding, and purposeful collaboration are key to building trust, resilience, and the ability to operate faster, better, leaner and greener.
