Pierre Bouchard has gained over 15 years of experience in climate policies and carbon markets through various organizations, including the Quebec Ministry of Environment and the United Nations Climate Change Secretariat. Since 2022, Pierre has been with Environment and Climate Change Canada as the Head of the Protocol Development and Horizontal Engagement Unit, supporting the development and implementation of Canada’s GHG Offset Credit System. In his role, he is responsible for the development of robust, high-quality federal offset protocols to enable high-integrity mitigation action and contribute to achieving Canada’s GHG targets.
