Lisa Bishop-Spencer is the Executive Director of the Canadian Centre for Food Integrity (CCFI), where she leads national efforts to build public trust in Canada’s food system through research, communications, and cross-sector collaboration. With over two decades of experience in food, agriculture, and public engagement, Lisa is recognized for her ability to translate complex sector issues into clear, credible, and compelling messages that resonate with both industry stakeholders and the public.

Since joining CCFI in 2024, she has led a strategic renewal of the organization, launched the Canada’s Food System: Our Food. Our Future. initiative, and expanded the Centre’s mandate to include both public-facing and policy-supporting communications. She also plays a key role in shaping the annual Public Trust Summit, which brings together leaders from across the food system to examine emerging research, share strategies, and strengthen public confidence in food.

Lisa brings a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Canada’s agri-food sector and is a sought-after voice on issues of trust, transparency, and credibility in a changing communications landscape.
