Jesse Wiebe is a dynamic entrepreneur, investor, and recognized thought leader in Saskatchewan’s venture capital and private equity ecosystem. As the founder of WieGrow Capital and Consulting in 2021, alongside his father Doyle Wiebe, he has actively invested in over 40 startups and multiple venture capital funds.
Pioneering the launch of Startup TNT in Saskatchewan in the same year, Jesse has spearheaded the organization’s national expansion and the development of its Agri-Food sector programming. His ability to cultivate strategic connections has been instrumental in enabling startups to secure over millions in venture capital.
With an honours degree in economics from York University and a diverse background encompassing chemical engineering and hospitality management, Jesse brings a unique and informed perspective to the industry. His global experiences, including time spent in Bangladesh and London, further enhance his capacity to address complex challenges and unite innovative minds. Beyond his investment activities, Jesse is committed to community engagement, notably through his involvement with the annual Art in the Garden Festival and his role as President of the Saskatoon Chapter of SYPE.
