Helen Seibel

Helen Seibel leads BMO’s Employee & Community Giving team, reimagining how the bank engages in community building to drive social impact. With over 20 years of experience in strategic corporate giving and volunteerism, Helen has helped build brand reputation and employee engagement across sectors. She has held leadership roles at GrantStream, the Canadian Centre for Philanthropy, Ericsson Telecommunications, and taught CSR Foundations at Toronto Metropolitan University. At AstraZeneca, she led global community investment and philanthropy strategy, managing major partnerships across 70+ countries. Helen holds a Global Executive MBA in Health and Life Sciences from the Rotman School of Management, certificates from Boston College and the Reputation Institute, and has completed programs at Yale and the University of Melbourne. A passionate advocate for community-focused grantmaking, she serves on the board of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and One Young World. Helen lives in Ontario with her husband, 2 children, and their Whoodle, Paddington.
