David Moss is an executive leader with 35 years of proven success in agribusiness and technology. Currently serving as Director of Business Development, Animal Health at TELUS Agriculture, he leads business development activities across livestock sectors globally. Previously, David was the General Manager of the Canadian Cattle Association (CCA) where he led the animal health file for CCA and worked closely with the Government of Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency on numerous files, including co-chairing the working group responsible for Canada gaining negligible-risk status for bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE). David was Co-founder and Vice President of AgriClear LP – an enterprise level digital Ag. marketplace joint venture with the TMX Group.
David has been in the Ag. industry his entire adult career. He helped build ranch to retail beef alliances in the United States, Australia and South America. He brings a focus on innovation, data technology, sustainable production and international business experience.
Along with several related certifications, he holds a MA in Leadership Studies from the University of Guelph, B.Mgmt. from the University of Lethbridge, and a Project Management Masters Certificate from York University. He serves on numerous government and industry committees and is an active volunteer in his Okotoks (Alberta) community.
