Amanda Richardson

Executive Director, Centre for Agri-Food Benchmarking

Amanda Richardson, Interim Executive Director for the Centre for Agri-Food Benchmarking, is an organizational leader with expertise in strategy development, stakeholder engagement, and guiding teams through growth and change. Amanda has held senior roles across the agri-food sector, including Director of Communications for the Centre for Agri-Food Benchmarking, the Canadian Agri-Food Policy Institute, Glacier FarmMedia, Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show, and Ag in Motion. In these roles, she strengthened programs, enhanced organizational reputation, built stakeholder relationships, and advanced sector-wide dialogue on sustainability and policy. Known for her ability to align strategy with execution, Amanda helps organizations set a clear direction, engage stakeholders, and deliver measurable results. She holds a Master of Communication Management from McMaster University and Syracuse University and an Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) through the Canadian Public Relations Society. Outside of work, Amanda is happiest on the farm — a cow-calf and grain operation in southwestern Ontario.
