Canada faces urgent challenges around food security, resilience, and reconciliation—yet one of the most powerful solutions remains overlooked. Indigenous agriculture and food systems offer a path forward: resilient, regenerative, and rooted in place.

Join Kallie Wood, President & CEO and Chris McKee, Senior Vice-President of NCIAF, for an interactive ask-me-anything session inspired by their recent op-ed. In it, bold actions are outlined, from procurement partnerships and systemic innovation to investment in Indigenous-led infrastructure, that could transform Canada’s agriculture and food landscape. Dive deeper into what Canada can do to unlock this potential, and engage directly with Kallie and Chris to explore what meaningful action looks like across the agriculture and food system.

Workshops are open to all attendees—typically engaging 20 to 60 participants—in interactive formats that foster collaborative problem-solving around key challenges and opportunities. Designed to apply learnings and collect insights in real time, participants are equipped to contribute meaningfully to foster long-term outcomes and impact that extends well beyond the event.
