DESTINATION NET ZERO: CHARTING THE COURSE IN CANADA

Getting to net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 is our generational moon shot – and our most urgent imperative. Achieving this goal will not only help us avoid the worst impacts of climate change…if done thoughtfully, it will also usher in new job opportunities, a more prosperous and sustainable economy, and a better quality of life for all.

We’re heading in the right direction. Most countries are committed to achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement, including net-zero emissions by 2050. Leading organizations and jurisdictions are also making increasingly ambitious commitments to reduce their GHG emissions.

We need to build on this progress and accelerate action, especially considering the opportunity to build back better post-COVID. No one organization or government or initiative can do it alone. We need to share and scale ideas, solutions and practices across sectors and regions.

Our constellation of organizations – The Delphi Group, GLOBE Series, the EXCEL Partnership, and Leading Change Canada, with our partner CBSR – is uniquely positioned to serve as Canada’s how-to hub for net-zero pledges and practices. We connect business and government leaders with the right advice, solutions, technologies and partners so that, together, we can create a net-zero future.
