Lisa Dickson is an Associate Principal and the Director of Resilience at Arup in the Americas region. She translates the risk of climate change into resilient solutions, especially in infrastructure. Her global portfolio includes projects for the World Bank, Logan International Airport, Washington D.C., the MBTA, Army National Guard, tech clients and large-scale developers.
In 2017, she presented at a Congressional Briefing on ways to incentivize private investment in resilient infrastructure. Lisa is now working with leaders in insurance and finance to develop products to monetize resilience’s value. She is also an advisor for two NSF-funded panels, and is a faculty member of an executive-level course on financing resilience in collaboration with MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
