Tyler Whale is President, Ontario Agri-Food Technologies – an organisation that ensures that the Ontario ag sector is at the forefront of agri-tech, to compete globally and to develop new market opportunities. Tyler was raised on a 7th generation dairy farm in Wellington County.
After completing extensive post-secondary education culminating in a PhD in Immunology and a BioTechnology-focused MBA, Tyler has worked at a variety of scientific and technology oriented organizations including Johns Hopkins University, The Saskatoon Colostrum Company, the University of Guelph and has been an entrepreneur himself.
At OAFT, Tyler works with dozens of ag-tech companies each year to help them achieve viability on a global scale. He is also responsible for enabling initiatives and teams that will pave the way for future innovation in the Canadian ag sector.
