Substantial financial investments from both public and private sources are required to shift the global economy to a low-carbon path. Climate Finance can provide impetus to get a project across the finish line. However, 3-years after the Paris Agreement, global flows have stagnated at levels far lower than required to achieve 2-degree goals, and this gap is indicative of broad systemic issues.

We will learn from the experiences of international professionals to align capital flow and to break through these finance challenges to inform the best opportunities for Canadian investors.
